Happy New Year!

Happy New Year – I can’t believe we’re in 2015!  By now we were all supposed to be walking round in silver jumpsuits, eating pills instead of food and travelling everywhere in flying cars. My mum even made silver jumpsuits for my Sindy and Paul dolls as a nod to the future.

Did you have any expectations as to what life would be like now?

Thank you for all your support my lovely blog friends. I hope the New Year is kind and brings you happiness, good health and peace.

  3. Happy New Year, Teresa.

I'm just glad we aren't all wearing silver jumpsuits- they aren't really designed right for those like me who aren't svelte any more ;)

And best wishes for a successful 2015.

    1. For some reason I imagined we'd all be svelte - and tall too! Sadly I'm neither! Happy New Year Carol xx

    1. I used to think it would be great, swallowing a pill or two and not having to sit down to eat - I don't like the idea now either! Happy New Year Kate xx

  5. It does seem to have come round fast (might be my age!) My life now is nothing like I'd imagined it when I was a child. I'm very happy though, so that's no problem.

I hope you have a lovely 2015, Teresa.

  8. Hi Teresa,

Good grief, it's the second of January, 2015. Where did the time go? :)

I had expectations of flying cars way before now. I blame in on that darned cartoon, "The Jetson's."

Here's to a happy, hopeful 2015 to you and your loved ones, dear Teresa.

    Hugs,

    Gary :) x

  9. Happy New Year, Teresa. Wishing you a successful and happy 2015. I tend not to expect anything these days. I just work hard for the things I want and need. However, I long for the day I can speak to a hole in the wall and the Christmas dinner appears without any stress or labour - just like on Star Trek. Yes, that would be nice :)

Ooh yes, that Star Trek replicator would be handy - imagine all the fancy stuff you could request too. A nice cocktail or a fancy coffee - what a good idea xx

  10. A very Happy New Year to you too Teresa. My resolution for this year is to do what I enjoy and enjoy what I do. I think I should be able to stick to that one.

  11. Wishing you and yours a wonderful New Year, Teresa. I had no expectations of this year at all but we watched Back to the Future II and were reminded of what they thought 2015 might be like!

  12. Happy New Year! I'm very glad not to be wearing a silver jumpsuit, though I'd love a tiger onesie... I didn't think I'd be as techy as I've become: fair enough, I've had my first smartphone less than a year, but I've bought more ebooks than you can shake a stick at and I've no idea how I would cope without my tablet!

    1. Happy New Year, Hayley. A tiger onesie sounds perfect now the weather is getting colder again. I am a complete convert to ebooks now, don't know where I'd be without my smartphone, but I tend to use the tablet for the kids to play on :-) xx

  13. Happy New Year Teresa.Let's hope 2015 doesn't fly by as quickly as 2014 did, although I don't hold out much hope. I'm glad we don't have to wear sliver jumpsuits although last year when I jokingly asked for a onesie, my boys bought me a pig. Not sure what that says about me, but lets just say it doesn't get worn during daylight hours! Linda
