Snow Point Worrying

I was going to declare this blog a snow-free zone, but what else is there to talk about right now?

Certain newspapers are full of doom and gloom, but since there’s nothing we can do about it let’s just enjoy it as best we can.

The dogs certainly are. Indy buried his head in the snow and dug holes while Tilly ran through it.

And just in case you aren’t sick enough of it, here are some pictures. It was -5 degrees and the camera didn’t like it.

Keep warm!

  1. It's gorgeous isn't it? Looks like Tilly's enjoying it as much as Molly does :o) We're running short of provisions though, so hoping we can get the car out soon.

  2. You're certainly getting your money's worth out of those dog's coats.

  4. I know it's disruptive, blah, blah, blah.. but it is wonderful, isn't it? I'm doing my best not to be a Snow Scrooge and just drink in the beauty! x

  5. Great photographs Teresa, especially the 'head in the snow' shot.

We managed to get out yesterday, after being cooped up for three days. Now stocked up again for at least another week or so.

    Stay warm......and upright!

  6. Hope you get out soon, Karen.

    Thanks Patsy.

Oh, Lynne if you could hear me. Every time I put those coats on I congratulate myself!

Thanks Suzanne - they really love it.

I don't like the disruption, Lydia and feel sorry for anyone who has to drive or has difficulty getting out, but is is pretty isn't it.

He had us in stitches Martin, burying his head. We weren't sure if he was trying to build an igloo, find his way to Australia (which he's heard is warmer) or hoping to find something to eat. Glad you're okay for another week.

  7. What fabulous photos! The snow always looks so much prettier in the country than it does in town, where it gets worn to brown mush.

  8. Thanks Hydra. The fields still look quite pretty, but as you say, a different story in the town.
