Lovely! The trouble with March and April is that you never know what sort of weather you're going to get from one moment to the next. Today has been very spring-like. I'm itching to do stuff in the garden now. First weeding - the 'bitter cress' is popping through in abundance already - then sowing lots of wild flower meadow seeds amongst the other plants in my borders. Slugs permitting, it should look lovely.
Very true, Jacula - I went out with my fleecy lined jacket on and got too warm. A couple of days ago I was shivering. I bet your wild flowers will look beautiful x
It's that patch of blue sky above the trees, Frances - the promise of things to come I think x
Fabulous photo Teresa. I adore this time of year with the promise of all that is to come (even if Moody March keeps breaking that promise!) including the lighter nights. Heating down and windows open yesterday - fantastic! :o)xx
Oh that trail looks wonderful!! And Indy is adorable - he looks so excited and happy to be out and about! I love love love spring - birds singing, lighter evenings, bulbs sprouting! It's a wonderful time! Take care x
A picture tells a thousand words indeed Teresa! The woods near us are similar and when the light is right and the season on the cusp - it is impossible not to take a picture. It was certainly a beautiful weekend which we spent in the Cotswolds as it happens :-)
Hi Teresa and hi Indy, Yes, tis I, Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet star, taking over my human's keyboard. Ah yes, such a lovely start to the almost spring. Today was another delightful day. Looking at Indy makes me realise I have got to go and have a tinkle. Better get my human to take me out. Bye..... Pawsitive wishes and doggy kisses, Penny xx

Thanks, Martin x
I bought a plant fromB and Q last week so spring must be on its way. It takes a bit longer to get up here, though.
