I am absolutely thrilled to
be a guest on the lovely People’s Friend “Getting to know you” blog.
You can see my contribution here.
There are some great posts on
there and I’m so pleased to join in.
The picture with the post
sums up summer for me – it was a great one wasn’t it?
Update on Dusty: He is much
better (hurtling now into adolescence and all the naughtiness that entails) and has an appointment next week to
determine if he’ll need a further three weeks of antibiotics.
Harley says: “Yes, I know he’s
behind me sticking his tongue out (how rude). He’s still miffed about National Cat Day!”
Lovely blog Teresa and so interesting to know about your first acceptance. The first of so many of your absolutely brilliant stories.
ReplyDeleteYes it was a great summer and it's November now. Not long until Spring eh!! :o)
Great picture of Harley and Dusty! Speaks volumes don't it!!! :o) xx
Thank you, Sue - you say the kindest things :-)
DeleteOh yes, spring - I am looking forward to it already!
Yes, Harley and Dusty (Naughty and Naughtier) - I keep finding him chomping on things he shouldn't, then discover Harley has been knocking them on the floor for him - what a double act :-) x
It's a lovely piece and I tried to leave a comment but failed. So here's what I said: Your natural warmth comes through in all your wonderful stories, Teresa!
ReplyDeleteThat's really lovely, Rosemary - thank you.
DeleteI had problems posting there too, then tried logging in as a guest and it worked :-) x
The weather's been miserable here today, so it's lovely to see such a nice photo and to read how your mum inspired you to write such brilliant stories.
ReplyDeleteCats rule Harley - especially black ones! :-)
Thank you, Deb :-)
DeleteI bet Taz agrees that black cat rule :-) x
A lovely post and I really like that photo. A lovely backdrop to do your thinking. It's interesting that your mum had so much influence in your writing as my mum often creeps into mine.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Maggie. Mums are a huge influence on us aren't they :-) x
DeleteA great post on PF Teresa. What a lovely way of thinking 'embroidery'. I love it. So pleased Dusty is on the mend.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nicola :-) I learnt so much from my mum :-) x
DeleteThat was a lovely, fascinating post, Teresa. And I'm so glad Dusty is on the road to recovery. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joanna :-) x
DeleteLovely blog post Teresa. Hope Dusty's fully recovered soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Colette - back to the vet on Thursday for his check up and to see if he needs more antibiotics x
