Spot the Difference

Saturday morning down at the beach following an early thunderstorm (the horizon isn't really that wonky!).

Sunday morning down at the beach. Those green marshes are a maze of creeks. Guess who likes running about on there and jumping in the creeks. No, it isn't me.

You may notice the blob on my camera lens. Well I’ve found a way to get rid of it!

I love my little Canon camera, but I have given in and treated myself to a new one. I have stuck with Canon and my new one is a tiny compact digital camera. No more blob!

And here’s my first photo! Not a blob to be seen.

Hope you are enjoying the June sunshine.

  1. I had the blob problem (bloblem?) too, Teresa, and did exactly the same. What a gorgeous first photo!

    1. Ha ha, it certainly was a bloblem! I think our solution is the only one x

  2. I've had a digital camera, but gave it up because the mobile is so much easier. Glad you're pleased with yours, though.

    1. I am and it was a bargain. I was a bit dubious about it being PINK - but it's a tasteful sort of pink x

  3. You're so lucky — my springer spaniel puppy lunges at the camera every time I try to take a photo! He is gorgeous, but the only decent photos I have of him are taken when he's asleep...

    1. Ah, he usually turns his head or moves away as I click. I have taken so many photos of the back of his head. They are so sweet when they're asleep aren't they - and so quiet :-) x

  4. It's just the weather for jumping in creeks.

    1. Lovely when they're full of water, but when the tide is out he comes out black! And smelly! x

  5. I love going out after rain. Did you and Dusty do any beach combing, Teresa?

  6. Gorgeous photo Teresa. Your new camera will beautifully match the very tasteful pink Dusty is reclining on!! I've gone back to my digital camera. For some reason my smart (or not so smart in this case) phone/camera is refusing to relinquish its photos to my computer!! Heaven knows why :( x

    1. The very crumpled used-to-be deep red bed linen that he's reclining on, Sue ;-) Did you try emailing your photos to yourself? It's annoying when they get stuck on a phone x

  7. I have a Cannon camera, Teresa, but I have been converted to the camera on my iphone - it takes such excellent photos and is thinner than a camera and so fits in my pocket.

    1. The phone is certainly very convenient, Wendy - and you always have it with you. More often than not I forget to pick up my camera x

  9. Lovely photos, Teresa, thank you. Dusty has a beautiful face. My Son prefers to use his mobile when we take photos at work to upload to Facebook, but I still love my camera x

    1. Thank you, Sharon. My kids all seem to prefer to use their phones for photos too - and they have the advantage of being able to share them immediately, as well as a bigger screen x

  10. Love that picture of Dusty, Teresa.

Enjoy the new camera, and no doubt the higher mega-pixel count that comes with it. :)

  11. Lovely photos. I use both cameras. The digital is so easy to put on the computer. I keep putting off trying to do same with mobile. But mobile great for showing to friends. I do miss living by the coast. We have lived in Pembrokeshire and Scotland, but ended up in the midlands.

  13. Hi Teresa,

Ah yes, a blog-free, oops, a blob-free photo and the pawfect subject. I have two blogs on my camera's screen. Most annoying, but a least the blobs are on the screen and not on the photo. Happy new Canon, Teresa.

    Gary :) x
