March Giggle Blog!

Just two little giggles from me this month!

***

Beloved: The cats knocked one of your plants off the windowsill this morning.

Me (looking at line of leafy plants): Which one.

Beloved: The green one.

***

Next giggle also provided by Beloved, only this time wearing his Grandad hat.

Grandad:  Why have elephants got big ears?

Grandson: I don’t know. Why have elephants got big ears?

Grandad: Because Noddy wouldn’t pay the ransom.

Pause.

Grandson: Who’s Noddy?

Lovely Susan Jane Jones started the monthly giggle blogs – you can read hers here. We gigglers are growing in number – please join us!

Happy March.

  1. Oh, yes they're funny. The green one. So helpful. And who's noddy? Time to get your story books out Teresa. Mind you, perhaps not. The children's page People's Friend stories are better. Thanks for the giggles.xx

  2. Lovely! But I couldn't stand Noddy. I thought there was something rather sinister about him. I prefer the Flower Pot Men.

  9. I like the giggle theme Teresa and have been across to Susan's blog too. We had egg cups in the form of Noddy, Big Ears and Mr Plod. I had Noddy. I just loved to say my sister had Big Ears :-)
Giggles a-plenty here this morning - looking after grandson (3 next month) who keeps dragging me from my desk because "there is a fire alarm". He has set up a desk in the other room and I have to be quiet because he needs to have a talk with Teddy. He is also into Maths but has got a little mixed up and began talking about potatoes to his mum the other day (Got muddled between mash and maths) Don't you love 'em? :-)

    1. Love it, Debbie - Big Ears! I can just imagine.
My littlest grandson (who is just 3) has pieces of paper which he puts in the shredder (turned off of course), then whips out like on Fireman Sam and says they're his emergencies! Lovely age x

  13. Have loved the posts this week, Teresa. :-) Am very partial to the giggle jokes, the sillier the better! I'm the one who always gets the groans at the dinner table at Christmas when I can't stop reading the Christmas cracker jokes out loud..... and then of, course there are the Tommy Cooper jokes!!
