Just popping in to post news
of a competition running over at I Should Be Writing.
If you get the writing
magazines, you’ll already be familiar with Lynne Hackles; fellow fiction
writer, brilliant writing tutor and fantastic writer of books about writing!
Lynne is giving away a copy of her new book, Handy Hints for Writers and it’s really easy to
enter. Just leave a comment on Lynne’s blog even if you just say hello and her lovely LSO will draw a name out of a hat in a week’s time.
I’m going to enter
because Lynne’s books always touch the writer in me.
Also I wanted to mention Helen's post over at Fiction is Stranger than Fact where you can find out how you can help Rowan Coleman raise £10,000 for Refuge and the #supportafriend campaign.
And just to be boring, here’s Fizz (escapee, part-time shark, early (very) morning alarm clock, killer of feet and surprisingly slender considering the amount of dog food she steals eats) too young at four months to put herself on the shelf?
Thank you for these great links, Teresa. I'm a chronic collector of writing books. My bookshelves are already groaning under my collection...but maybe I could squeeze in just another teeny one??
ReplyDeleteI have to say though that I can't believe that angelic little Fizz could possibly do all those naughty things. I'm putting it down to your writerly imagination...Ahem! Rx
I've never had a cat that would eat absolutely anything before - she'll even eat baked beans! Indy is very proud of her, he says she's a dog after his own heart :-) x
DeleteThank you for the great links, Teresa. And oh my goodness, Fizz just keep getting cuter and cuter, I'm ahhhing all over the place here. XX
ReplyDeleteShe is sweet, Mandy, but I do wish I'd got two :-) x
DeleteThanks for the links, Teresa. Fizz just gets prettier doesn't she :o) xx
ReplyDeleteShe already looks so different from that fuzzy kitten I brought home, Sue. I do feel sorry for her not having another little kitty to play with though :-) x
DeleteShe gets more adorable all the time, Teresa. It makes me want another kitten.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for these interesting links and I'm off to have a look now. xx
I'll pop her in the post, Joanna ;-) x
DeleteSaw that on Lynne's blog and I'm off to comment. Will check out Helen's too. Lovely Fizz!
ReplyDeleteI love Lynne's books, Rosemary - good luck with the draw :-) x
DeleteI got in early with my hellos on Lynne's blog. Keep posting the Fizz photos, Teresa... Bob and Bon like looking at them.
ReplyDeleteI saw you there, Wendy :-) Bobby and Bonny are very kind ;-) x
DeleteThanks for the links! Can't have too many books. I ordered The Painting off Amazon, but have to wait until I go somewhere with wifi before I can download. (My antivirus won't let me do it with a USB from my own computer!)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joanne :-) Oh you're so right about not having too many books and it's even better now they don't have to take up loads of shelf space :-) x
DeleteFizz is so cute, she's lovely Teresa.
ReplyDeleteShe can be, Suzy :-) x

It's a wonderful idea isn't it, Kitty :-) x
DeleteOh Teresa that kitty of yours is adorable....how I long to have young kitties in the house...:(
ReplyDeleteShe is fun to have around, Petronela, even if she does climb into my bed in the early hours to fight my feet :-) x
DeleteHi Teresa, your fizz is adorable. But you know that already.....I want a cat too.
ReplyDeleteI will send her airmail, Maria ;-) x
